Mike and Todd have $21 between them. Mike has $20 more than Todd. How much does each have (you can't use fractions in the answer)?

20 is only 19 more than 1!!! hellooooo!!!
x+y=21
x=y+20
Linear Algebra tells us that
x=20.5
y=0.5
and I won't change it to cents! as Gelareh suggests... I think the don't use fractions is just a tricky question, I protest!! :-P
But does the "cents" constitute a fraction of a dollar....I got the same answer but I assumed it was wrong because it wasn't whole dollar values...
